I say hooray for those of us who have shoe fetishes because it appears, from years of listening to other shoe fetishists, that there is a significantly higher frequency of sexual activity among shoe fetishists and their partners (for those who have partners) than the general population. This may confirm what I have been saying all along. Over years many complain that everyday sex can get boring. My research leans toward those people who have a shoe fetish or boot fetish noting that sex adds a dynamic that creates excitement and drive. For those I have discussed this with this certainly is the case for many of us who share this fetish. For me sex never gets boring and when it does my partner and I go shoe shopping and I am captivated by my partner again. It seems a hot sexy pair of new or well-worn heels has more power to add interesting curves and looks than just marketing.
Perhaps in the general population many of us are just plain don’t care, or dumb as doors and won’t create fun and excitement. Especially if some of them have a partner with a closet full of hot sexy designer shoes and boots. Regardless as their partner many just simply ignore that? Or, are they just silent about their fetish? After all there is more stigma for anyone admitting they have a shoe fetish than coming out of the closet is for an LGBT person. It’s time to get over it, for goodness sake the heat is on their feet are you too shy to admit it and go for it? Wake up people, shoes can be scalding hot and so can a partners legs and feet and you don’t have to screw them to enjoy them. However, if you get to the point you do use a little silicone sex lube and you will be in a for a real surprise and treat.
Many women get what shoes do for fashion. Just go to your local Nieman Marcus shoe salon and it is full of buying women. However, some of them may not even know beyond, yes these look sexy, what is going on around them when they buy a pair of Manolo, Jimmy Choo, or Gucci Helena boots and start walking around in them? Do they notice? Do they look to see how much attention those Christian Louboutins are getting. Honey it isn’t just the red on the soles, it’s the shape, texture and feel and her feet in them. The attention comes from both men and women around them? Do they understand a look of desire when they see one? Even other women are staring, some probably a fleeting lesbian thought or two? Or have we become so shy and focused we ignore the sexual signals around us?
Women, If you want to know what pair to buy? Next time you go shoe shopping look around and see how many are looking at you and what you are trying on. That's looking at all of you from head to the tip of your shoes or boots. How many of them do you think want that whole package? Remember men and women think about sex constantly even if the numbers don’t reflect the activity. Skip the salesperson and look around at the faces arpoound you and you will know exactly which shoes are the ones that look great on you and that you should buy. If you’re not buying shoes to enhance your image, well why buy designer shoes at all? Perhaps you’re the one who wears Birks and can’t understand why no one is looking at you except the ones you don't want.
Although we may not always link sex to shoes, we know that great sexy shoes make many men and women perhaps feel more sexy, more desirable, and if their partner responds to their fashion, perhaps even more sexually receptive. This is not well researched it’s just plain old common sense, which isn’t very common at all. It’s my summary of my notes over the last 25+ years of shoe fetish research. Some of it is posted on this WEB site reflecting the continued high sexual activity for most of the many ages who write to me with a shoe fetish.
I can say proudly, and I was surprised seeing this chart that I had forgotten, that for my age group, my partner and I are solidly in the 2-3 times per week category and have been for all of those years and more, and yes with multiple orgasm’s each time we meet and enjoy a sexual encounter. My personal rule, if we don’t have 2-3 hours to enjoy our time together we can wait until we do. Talking with and seeing each other is part of the joy. For me it’s almost never, “slam bam thank you mam.”
The chart, sadly, for every age group shows a clear disconnect between the sexes with high points of only a few times per month for married couples. That is a shame!!! Can it be that with all of the sexuality in the media for many it turns out to only be just advertising wishful thinking or fantasy? Do most people just want to see the sexy girl or guy in an ad and never make it real? To me sex is, and has always been a blast, and my shoe fetish over the years has added incredible dynamics to foreplay, oral, inter, and even some shoe play. For many of us fetishists sex never gets boring or routine because all it takes is our partner wearing and teasing us with a hot pair of shoes or boots, and better yet a new pair that we adore, and then many of us are off to a great encounter. I want it all oral, inter, and maybe even the shoes if anything is left.
Come on people this is nuts let’s get it going. Researchers don’t get it, we that they call deviant are having sex while those that they call normal have a pathetic activity level. Like I said on the very first page of this web page having a Shoe Fetish can truely be one of lifes gifts, "or", it can be a curse. It all depends on what you do with yoour fetish and how you treat and respect partners needs.
There are a class of loner shoe fetishists. I know they enjoy their fetish and I always support and wish them the best but my focus is to try to find ways to help them to get " Out Of The Closet" and integrate their shoe fetish naturally meeting their needs but with a partner treating shoes as you might treat any other sex toy brought into a relaitonship and into our lives. Yes, Yes, I know a truth, and it’s really true those of us with a shoe fetish don’t really consider shoes sex toys many solo fetishists consider shoes almost the same as intercourse, "but" if we are able to integrate them wisely as a loving fair partner we can share the best of all worlds and even at times have time to just play with our shoe boxes.
This is not my chart – I borrowed it from the Kinsey Institute Report on FAQ it is dated I think 2010 but it shows what I am talking about in regards to normal sexual activity. They didn’t have a chart reflecting sex for those with a partner and also a shoe fetish. My notes show we are way more active.

- 90% of men and 86% of women have had sex in the past year
- 27% of men and 19% of women have had oral sex in the past year
- 23% of men and 11% of women have bought X-rated movies or videos
- 10% of men and 9% of women have had anal sex in the past year.
(Laumann, Gagnon, Michael, Michaels, 1994).
- 18-29 year olds have sex an average of 112 times per year, 30-39 year olds an average of 86 times per year, and 40-49 year olds an average of 69 times per year (Mosher, Chandra, Jones 2005).
- 23% of non-married men reported they have never had sex in the past year, 25% reported only a few times in the past year, 26% reported a few times in the past month, 19% reported 2-3 times a week, and 7% reported 4 or more times a week (Laumann, Gagnon, Michael, Michaels, 1994).
- 32% of non-married women reported they have never had sex in the past year, 23% reported only a few times in the past year, 24% reported a few times in the past month, 15% reported 2-3 times a week, and 5% reported 4 or more times a week (Laumann, Gagnon, Michael, Michaels, 1994).
- 1% of married men reported they have never had sex in the past year, 13% reported only a few times in the past year, 43% reported a few times in the past month, 36% reported 2-3 times a week, and 7% reported 4 or more times a week (Laumann, Gagnon, Michael, Michaels, 1994).
- 3% of married women reported they have never had sex in the past year,
- 12% reported only a few time in the past year, 47% reported a few times in the past month, 32% reported 2-3 times a week, and 7% reported 4 or more times a week (Laumann, Gagnon, Michael, Michaels, 1994).
- 13% of married couples reported having sex a few times per year, 45% reported a few times per month, 34% reported 2-3 times per week, and 7% reported 4 or more times per week (Laumann, Gagnon, Michael, Michaels, 1994).
